IGNITION COIL

Ignition coils also known as the spark coils is an induction coil in your vehicle ignition system. This component transfers relatively low voltage from the car’s power supply turning it into thousand voltages needed by the spark plug to ignite the fuel.

When having a poor ignition coil, the engine would misfire and might result in weak fuel consumption. Some of the symptoms of a bad ignition coil include backfiring engine, poor fuel economy, rough idling, or when check engine light turns on.
