Established in 2000, WAP is an industry leading manufacturer of premium quality direct ignition coils.

WAP also continues to invest heavily in the most modern, up to date, manufacturing and quality testing equipment. All company processes are strictly adhered to under the parameters set forth by our
IATF 16949 certification which we achieved in 2016.

WAP currently produces over 1000 direct ignition coils covering thousands of applications from every corner of the globe. We provide our premium quality ignition coils to the automotive aftermarket in North America, Europe, South America, and Asia.

Summary of our strengths

Our raw materials are all sourced from top-tier brands. The copper wire is from Yilisuler, with a enamel coating withstand voltage of >30KV (0.05mm); the epoxy resin is from Yeze, with a withstand voltage of >30KV (1mm); the permanent magnet is from Fuhong, made of neodymium iron boron, with a temperature resistance of 180 degrees Celsius without demagnetization; and the plastic is from Runda, made of PPO, with a withstand voltage of >26KV (1mm).

We conduct 100% full inspection of both semi-finished and finished products. Semi-finished products undergo waveform performance testing, and finished products undergo a 60s open-circuit test. The current and voltage are then tested to ensure they meet the specified ranges. We strictly control quality and have passed IATF 16949 international quality system certification.

Except for outsourced rubber parts, all our plastic and metal parts, including the frame, are manufactured in-house. Epoxy resin filling is completed in a vacuum environment, reducing the risk of cracking and leakage.

Our company has built its own laboratory to conduct extreme tests on the products, such as ignition cycles, high temperature and high pressure, and thermal shock, to ensure that the products meet the standards.
